We're delighted to announce the release of roiquant 3.1.11, which includes features releases, new updates and issues fixes.

Released on 29 & 31 December 2021, and 3 & 5 January 2022 - by founders, for founders.


  • Tools - pitch deck analysis (for founders): founders get real-time analysis and recommended readings to improve business value creation in a structured and tangible approach while building their pitch decks.
    • All saved pitch decks can be edited via the table of content.
    • Once the pitch decks are ready, select pitch from the Action button to showcase the pitch decks to investors on deals sourcing feature (page/table) according to the financing stages.
    • It is released under beta-mode which we'll improve the inconvenient issues and algorithms for better feedback:
      • The NDA currently does not remember your consent, so just re-submit your consent each time it pops up.
      • The financials and management components are not ready yet and we'll be releasing them in February.
    • This feature is available under Basic Plan.
  • Sourcing - investment deal flow (for investors): investors get access to diverse and recommended investable opportunities from the very-early and early stages.
    • Our pitch deck analytics helps founders improve their fundability to offer high quality curated deal flow to investors.
  • Data - add-&-edit (for founders and investors): we now allow founders and investors to directly add or edit information into our multiple collections of data.
    • Claim, update or correct the information of any profile.
  • Simulation - scorecard method (pre-revenue business valuation): another pre-revenue valuation method to aid your valuation calculation.


  • Database: added more data into our collections.
    • Investor collection: 33,000+ investment firms.
    • Company collection: 600,000+ companies.
    • Product collection: 2,000+ discontinued products.
    • Being data-centric in our machine learning operations, we're cleaning and preparing the data to power our solutions for you.


  • UI/UX fixes: we're always improving for your better experience.

Issues and errors

  • Confidentiality agreement: we'll be fixing this in February 2022.
    • Idea validation: our NDA stops popping out in your next login.
    • Pitch deck analysis: our NDA keeps popping out at this point.

What to expect in our next major release on 28 Jan 2022

  • Analytics (startup, venture, and competitive intelligence): we're improving our data models and algorithms to optimize accuracy.
  • Sourcing - funding (for founders): apart from those accepting cold emails, founders can request to email investors who usually prefer warm referrals.
    • Upon investors' approval, founders can email and pitch them.
  • Filter function: you can filter each column of our data tables.
  • Database: a lot more data.

  • After our version 3.1.11 release on 29 December 2021, our team wrapped up the year with our annual team meeting the day after.
    • Even though 2021 started out poorly for us but we ended with a high note and we can't wait for 2022 because we have many more exciting features and solutions to offer you so that you'll be able to ideate, build, validate, innovate, and pitch.
      • It's in our name: fail, learn, innovation prototyping, pivot/pitch, your idea.
  • Although our tech team is on-leave till 17 Jan 2022 while our non-tech team till 10 Jan 2022, we're still reachable via email, website's chat widget, and social media.
